Family Upgrade gone crazy ???

I'm looking to upgrade from my Windows 7 phone to a Windows 8 phone.

In order to get the $100 instant rebate I have to give up my Family AND Data plans ???

WHO ARE YOU KIDDING ???

I'll just wait until Amazon gives the phone away for FREE !!!

I ordered mine, on an existing family plan. If your eligible for an upgrade, you just select the 920 as your upgrade phone. If you're not eligible for an upgrade then you don't get the upgrade price unless you add a line. You do need to change to an LTE data plan, but your actual data plan should remain the same cost. Are you on a granfathered unlimited plan? I hadn't heard that those were lost in a phone upgrade.
