8107 Software and HTC Firmware Update?

Dear Alex & Jam,

     I know this is yet another message regarding the 8107 update Microsoft has released which was announced by the Windows Phone Team on their Blog Page  http://windowsteamblog.com/windows_phone/b/windowsphone/archive/2012/01/06/new-maintenance-release-...  January 6th. But it has still not been pushed out to our Windows Phones (or even acknowledged by AT&T) almost A MONTH LATER !!!. This fixes several bugs including the keyboard disappearing in the middle of typing. A Necessary Fix.

     Also there is another issue affecting every Windows Phone owner using an HTC device. When using the Zune media player (Microsoft's proprietary media player designed and built into our Windows Phones as the main media player) to play music, the phone locks up becoming non-functional with the only remedy being to remove the battery !!! (For most of us this also involves having to remove our phone case as well). The problem is well documented on Microsoft's own "answers" website  http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/winphone/forum/wp7-wpmusic/zune-on-htc-wp7-freezes-between-songs/... .  That link shows the issue was reported fixed by an HTC Firmware Update released in NOVEMBER !!!! Here again we are almost 3 MONTHS LATER and it hasn't been pushed to our phones. This is another Necessary Fix.

     I am upset that I chose to pay $200 and agree to an additional 2 yr contract for a phone to have functionality beyond what I would have in a less expensive phone or would have had by keeping a phone I had before upgrading. For the replies on AT&T's side of this issue to continue to say they don't know anything is unacceptable. Ingnorance is not an excuse an if you go to the links I provided you are now informed. So PLEASE get to the bottom of this NO MATTER WHO YOU HAVE TO TALK TO and LET US KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON !!!! If you put yourselves in our position, you would realize this is beyond ridiculous. Our devices do not function as we paid for them to function and both Microsoft and HTC have released the fixes. It is AT&T's responsibilty to pass these on to their customers !!!
