I don't know if anyone else expereinces this but our E-Mail is hosed weekly *except* webmail. What I mean by that is that every week our tools such as Outlook (on PC) and Mail (on iPhone and Android smartphone) start complaining that the settings are incorrect. Oddly enough the webmail does NOT get affected - i.e. the same password works.
FWIW, this is true whether Outlooks is using POP3 or Android is using IMAP. Then after several days it all starts working again. So I do have the webmail workaround but this is frustrating & annoying ...
Since webmail keeps working with the same credentials does it mean that webmail authenticates against a different data store while the data store for anything other than webmail is somehow hosed & then corrected after a certain time? But at the same time if this was true I would think there would be a LOT more angry people ...
Since AT&T seems to outsource the E-Mail service of it's subscribers to Yahoo who can look into this?
