I saw a post today where I would have normally refered them to David and now I no longer see the thread of how to reach him. Is he gone? Should all issues be sent through Jam and Alex, even though (AFAIK), they are not Tier 2's?

The preference now is to route the problem through the Alex and Jam first. David will still handle them if they are directed to him.

Well that's pretty sad they removed the sticky/thread for David. I thought we were still recommending users with difficult technical problems to David along with those trying to get new service??
And do all the links we posted to the David thread now go nowhere or "post not found"?
Guess we will just have to send users to the UverseUsers Forum website link for David.

Yes. A few weeks ago, David posted on the Uverseusers.com forum, that the Community Managers on this forum need to be given the opportunity to resolve issues posted here that need to be referred. The Community Managers will route issues to where they need to go to be resolved.

Well, for those of us NOT on the inside track, a notice stating such here would have been nice.
And not everyone has time to read this forum, DSLR, and UU to find out what's happening.

Rhetorical Question - And how are we supposed to know that, if we don't visit Uverseusers.com? Seriously. IMHO, it's adding another layer, unnecessarily.

I agree...totally. In fact things on this formerly pretty straight forward forum have become so blasted complicated that I've pretty much just given up trying to keep track of it all. I suggest that someone at the top needs to study ways to simplify all the various procedures.
As far as UU is concerned. I NEVER go there anymore because there is just nothing useful there and there was an awful lot of just plain offensive folks on there....at least in the past.
They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

It's no big deal if you refer something to David. According to David, if an issue on this forum is referred to him, he can still work it; however, the preference is that the Community Managers be given the opportunity to resolve issues posted on this forum.

Here's the link to David's post:
http://www.uverseusers.com/index.php?option=com_sm
He's still available for technical/service problems here:

Recently revised and the prequal failure section has been changed substantially. ![]()

No, no, no. Completely understand and thanks. That's why I said "rhetorical question." At any rate, I understand and I'm glad that david is still here, although invisible. lol.
