I was leaving my home for a while, and am ultimately not moving back into my apartment. So I had my service on hold, but canceled later.
At the end of October I paid a $162 early termination fee. The amount I had to pay was slightly less because of a previous balance. At the end of November I was again charged for a vacation hold. Can someone explain to me why this is? I had only U-Verse internet.
Thank you for any assistance. I am hoping to understand the situation more before I call to resolve it.

Since this is account specific I would recommend that you send a private message to the escalation team at ATT Customer Care and someone will get in touch with you. Their normal business hours are from 7am to 10pm Central Time. Please take into account weekends when contacting them.
Customer care is not the same as customer service. They are a dedicated escalation team that gets issues resolved when other means have failed.
