I'm so frustrated and angry with AT&T customer service!! I got a text message from AT&T lasst weekend said they installed the U-verse for me. But the problem is I NEVER called them to install U-VERSE. I DON'T EVEN OWN A TV!!!! Why do I need the cable service!!!!! I tried to call them but never can get on hold. I did the online chat with their technical support, but they couldn't do anything about it since this is related to account service.
I want to know who did they talk to when they called my number to schedule the installation. Or my phone called AT&T to schedule the installation service...This is ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe the TXT message was nothing but a bit of phishing SPAM?

I understand that you don't have Uverse service but I suggest you send a Personal Message to ATT Customer Care they are an escalation team that has more reach than regular Customer Service. They can help you get this resolved. They will reply to you viap PM as well so watch the little blue envelope next to the Sign Out button on the forum page for message notification.
