Apparently they do not. When shifting between two states I asked them to suspend service on the northern state. They instantly suspended service on the southern state although I always paid my bills and kept the service. Three people later, including a transfer to accounts receivable because they were certain that I had to be a collections account, a rather rude and unpleasant woman told me that it would be at least 24 hours before I could get service. Paperwork!!!! Paperwork?? In this day and age with their technology and I am screwed out of three days service because they finally admitted a mistake on their end. Spare me. According to this woman, all phone companies mess up and require paperwork to restart a phone.
Shame on ATT for the mistake but a much bigger SHAME for not being able to get my phone up and running now.
