Since I can not post a email to AT&T customer service, I am posting this issue to their board.
I switch service providers from TWC to AT&T. When AT&T came to install, my land line phone number I'd had since 2002 had not been released by TWC. There was a lot of, oh well we can't install until a truck comes so maybe it will be done bye tomorrow after the service truck clears a path to your phone poll. OK, now TWC had an additional day to port. Come the next day, still not ported. I call TWC, they say their working on it. I drop land line and the number I have had since 2002.
I just want a record of all the happenings from AT&T's side of things that lead to me dropping the service and losing my phone number so I may better complain with the Better Business Bureau against TWC. All that should require is an email request, not a wait all day for phone assistance.

If you've already left TWC, there's not going to be a whole lot the BBB will be able to do for you.
If I were you, I'd be glad I no longer did business with them and enjoy my new service!

If TWC hasn't let go of the number there isn't much AT&T can do. You want to complain, complain to TWC and tell them to get off their A $ $ and release your number to AT&T. They have to comply. They are just hoping you'll give up and come back.

I don't want anything from TWC except them to stop pulling this with customers. If they concentrated on their product more and screwing customers less, I may not have left them in the first place. Also, I want to fully document it by collected what AT&T knows to firm it up a notch.
