After years with AT&T, I have finally given up on this service. First of all, they are more expensive than the other providers and will nickle and dime you to death if you don't watch your bill. I set up autopay and they would take the money out and reverse payments. Finally my bill was at 600 or 700 dollars at a time. On a Thursday they turn off my service. You can't even call their number from your phone because they shut that off, too. I pay the bill over the phone using my VERIZON cell, they charge me $90 restoration fees and the very next day, take the same amount out of my bank account. They would not reimburse me the fees. When I last called to pay the bill, the snotty operator tells me that she has to charge me $5.00 to process it...really? Then she rudely tells me "well, you just need to pay your bill". I just drove over to the AT&T store to pay it. Right after I paid it, I then have tech support issues. Earlier this year, I was having problems with my service and they sent out tech, charging ME $50! I after they add this fee to my bill; they send me a new receiver anyway!!! So I paid the $50 for tech support for nothing. I have told AT&T several times over the last 6 months that I am considering switching to Comcast and they don't care. They are huge, one customer loss won't hurt them, but if anyone asks me about AT&T, I will tell them go with Comcast. By the way, you have to drive to a UPS store to have your equipment returned, you can't just drop it off at an AT&T store. Beyond inconvenient. This is my last month with AT&T.

If your bill was 600 or 700 as you claim then you were ordering PPV events and movies every night. How do they nickel and dime? The bill should be within a dollar or two every month depending on how many days are in the month.

Yep. My "nonsense" detector is beeping very loudly. He's been a customer for years and this is his first second post, with no attempts to get it resolved. I left Comcast for similar reasons (bad CS, frequent outtages) but I'm sure that he'll be happy, there.
Some of his post is accurate while others delve into rant mode and then into seeming fiction.

The only things truthful about that post was the $90 restoral fee if you have all three services and you have to return your equipment to a UPS store.

Maybe it's just here, but the UPS stores are everywhere, maybe 15 in this market. There are like 2 AT&T stores.
Thus, much more convient for me to return to a UPS store than an AT&T store (if that were an option).

We have about 16 AT&T stores and 5 UPS stores nearby

Maybe y'all have more FedEx/Kinkos (2, I think) and PostNets (zero).
