Hi,
I ordered ATT UVERSE service last July, and service technitian came by my house and said, we could not have a
service because of no line setting with my house. I said OK, then called in to cancell my contract.
I sent all device to office with label, I thought everything cancelled and that it.......................
After a few months, I still getting a bill, and I called in to confirm my cancelation, then they said, this time they cancelled
my contract........... I still getting a bill now total $400-500......... I called in every day... but same results. They said manager would call me..............they never called me. I did this flow over and over, finally I get a letter saying my unpaid balance going
to collection service.,..........
NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YOU ATT HAS TO CHANGE THIS POOR, STUPID, WORTHLESS, MEANINGLESS SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I HATE AT&T I HATE THEIR POOR EMPLOYEE!!!! MANAGEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GOVERMENT SHOULD RESOLVE THIS POOR, STUPID, WORTHLESS COMPANY.
WORST WORST SERVICE WORSE THAN ANY 3RD WORLD COMPANIES.
DISGUSTTING, LOW LOW LOW COMPANIES.

Totally agree. I just wrote a two-page long complaint letter about my so called "overdue" bill. I had to use snail mail because it always takes too long to even reach them over the phone, if the phone call is not dropped... Was searching for their customer care mailing address and got directed to this forum. Feeling better to see I'm not alone. I'm filing a FTC complaint.

Or you could contact Alex, one of the AT&T Community Managers for further assistance and have your issue fixed in a few easy clicks.
By the way, not everyone has the same issues that you and the Original Poster has. For most, U-Verse is a good service with decent CS.

Tell me you don't honestly believe this. I have dropped many other companies for far less than the crap I've put up with by staying with AT&T.
The sad thing is, I like Uverse, I like what it does and no one else does what they are doing. Some are starting to, but is it worth changing? I'd like to see AT&T step up to the plate and make things right. But they know they have a monopoly on things for the most part and don't really have to give a darn about how they treat every single customer. They have so many that they don't worry about losing one hear or there.
And please tell me all you AT&T forum minions. . . what makes ths Alex person the be-all, end-all contact with customer service? Why can't every person you contact with AT&T be just as supposedly helpful?

Yes, what you see is a very small number of upset UVerse customers, I've not had any issues with AT&T UVerse in the over 2 1/2 years I've had the service. Go to ANY providers forums and you will see many many more complaints. (If the provider doesn't pull them down.)

The company I work for prides itself in our customer service and even I get upset at the sometimes worthless customer service agents I deal with on a daily basis. No company has 100% perfect customer service and you'd be a fool to believe otherwise. As for Alex, Jam and Julie, it's their jobs to be the be-all, end-all as you call it. He's on this forum to handle the issues that don't get resolved. AT&T's Facebook page has a few moderators as well that handle issues.

We suggest people contact Alex to people who need help isses resolved. Most of the time when they have had difficulty when they call TS/CS to get those issues resolved. Again I said we "Suggest" contacting Alex. It is easy to do and has gotten many people the help they needed. If you decide not to contact that is your decision. Alex, Jam, Phil, Taylarie and others offer help to subs who come here looking for help. We point people to them because people may or may not know how to reach them or that they are available at all.
