I was told $59.95 plus taxes
I got the bill today:
$202.00 including taxes
I've been on the phone over 2 hours trying to get this mess cleaned up.
Magic-Jack is looking better and better!!

Try contacting Julie, one of the AT&T Community Specialists for further assistance.
First bill will be higher (usually pro-rated charges), plus taxes and fees. ![]()

Your first bill can be for almost 2 months depending on when your service starts and your billing cycle. The first bill includes next month in advance and part of the current month. This is common practice for almost every service company.

It can also include installation charges as well.

There may also be a one time $36 activation fee. You need to review the detailed line items on the bill not just the total amount of the bill to see what is being billed.

No, it's been in effect for new customers for about 2 years. It used to be a $29 one time fee.
