I know all along CBS On-Demand was not availble to Uverse. Out of curiosity, I check every so often, so needless to say I was so happy when I checked a few minutes ago, finally CBS O-Demand was not included in the On-Demand Network Menu. But I was very disappointed when I actually clicked on the CBS link only find "Unavailable CBS VOD." Does that mean we will be actually get the CBS on-demand soon and Unverse is in the process? Thanks.

Your first sentence is not correct. CBS On Demand is available to U-Verse but it depends on where you live. If the local CBS affiliate is owned and operated (O&O) by CBS, then yoiu should have access to CBS VoD. If your local affiliate is owned by another company, then CBS VoD will not be available.
What you may have found is called a placeholder. Sometimes U-Verse adds them when a future rollout could happen. OR it might be a mistake
. I live in indianapolis, a non CBS O&O market, so I'll check soon to see if the CBS VoD placeholder is there.

I meant all along it was not listed on my VOD menu until this morning, so that's why I was thinking it may soon be available for me and my area (Columbus, OH) but wasn't sure. Thanks for your response.

No, I understand what you mean. There are cities that have always had CBS VoD but others (like Indy, Columbus, Ohio and so on)do not have it. By having CBS VoD display on your box, could indicate that U-Verse might be adding CBS VoD for everyone! Hope so! If I remember (at 50 years old, that is 50/50 deal) I'll check tonight.

Thanks so much again for your response. I hope we get CBS too, they have a lot of great shows I love to watch but miss because of unforeseen circumstances on tv.

I guess I'm lucky that DFW is a CBS O&O channel and we have VoD.

Oh well, I guess I knew it was too good to be true, checked again tonight and CBS and CBS HD was gone from the listing. I really was hoping it being listed this morning was a sign that we would be getting the CBS on-demand soon. Someday, I hope.

Don't give up hope just yet, they may be testing before putting it in place.

I agree cugsie, that could be the case. I checked (Indianapolis) and no CBS VoD, last week.
