Can I either watch live TV or recorded programs on DVR on my PC/laptop? Can't afford another DVR+TV to network with my primary Uverse DVR but will be nice if I can use my laptop/PC as a remote viewer ...

The only ways to do this are:
1. Use a 2nd U-Verse STB and connect it to the computer using a capture or tuner card.
2. Use a device designed for remote viewing on the primary DVR like a Slingbox.

Thanks for the reply. Bummer, I thought u-verse being "IP" TV it will be easy to do this. Oh, well, a 2nd u-verse stb is out-of-question so I guess for now I just need to find time to watch on the TV connected to the primary u-verse stb.
Thanks again for the clarification!

If you have an Xbox, you may be able to use that in the near future. Sounds like they are getting ready to roll an update/upgrade out for that connectivity. I am pretty sure that they will charge for it though, since it would circumvent the use of a paid reciever, and they aren't in the
business of giving freebees like that. I am pretty sure that they wouldn't ever provide a person with the ability to watch TV for free in every room
in your house without springing for some fees. Using a laptop pretty much is what this would be.
