Is there a known connectivity problem with Uverse customers who try to use Skype?
I have ATTUverse. I seem to be having a problem staying connected when I try to use Skype. My connection is fine until I try to call somebody using Skype. I can talk to the person I'm calling for approximately 30 seconds before the call gets dropped, then my internet connection is terminated, which results in me having to reboot my computer.
All of the other computers in the house and the television are able to retain their internet connection. I lose my internet connection only when I try to use Skype.
I went to the Skype website but wasn't able to get any information on this matter.

Hello,
The issue seems to be coming from your computer. If your internet only goes down on one system and all the other systems retain their internet access than it must be an issue with only the one system. That being said, there are no issues using Skype with Uverse. I would suggest un-installing and reinstalling the program if it's causing problems. The other issue may be found in your firewall settings either on the computer or on the modem itself. Please let me know what kind of modem you are using and I will give you instructions on how to check it.
