OK so here is the situation. I have AT&T Uverse setup with static ips (8 but 5 usable).
The long and short of it is everything was working for years and I got hit with a DDOS attack so we switched my ips to a new bank of 8. Life is all good except I have a mail server of my own. I had a RDNS record setup years ago for mail.jeffcieslik.com pointing to 22.214.171.124. I need to get this changed to my new ip which is 126.96.36.199.
So right now if you do a "nslookup 188.8.131.52" you get mail.jeffcieslik.com. I need to get that switched so 184.108.40.206 returns mail.jeffcieslik.com
I have called AT&T several times and got transfered all around. Need some help finding someone who can fix this for me. Thank you.

You're likely to get nowhere with phone technical support. They probably can't spell RDNS.
Since this is account specific I would recommend that you send a private message to the escalation team at ATT Customer Care and someone will get in touch with you. Their normal business hours are from 7am to 10pm Central Time. Please take into account weekends when contacting them.

I just wanted to post a follow up. Thank you to this forum. I called in several times and could not get this done, but one private message and a couple emails later and my RDNS request was fufilled correctly. Thank you again!
