Good morning! I have uverse internet service in my home. I would like move the router/modem from the pc to which it was originally connected during setup to a new pc. Does anyone know where to find instructions for that? I tried looking at the support info on the uverse internet site, but didn't have any luck.
Thanks!

Is the RG (router/modem) connected via a USB cable? If so, then you might need some specialized instructions.
If connected via an Ethernet cable (Cat 5e or similar), then just disconnect it from the old PC and connect it to the new.
If connected wirelessly, then you'll need to repeat the wireless setup on the new computer.
Let us know how the old computer connects and we'll try to help further.

It's connected through an ethernet cable. It's just as simple as plugging it in? I wasn't sure if there was anything I need to do to make another pc the "main hub" if you will. The current pc will probably be kept in use, but not be the main one. It has Windows XP and the other PCs are windows 7 and we're having some trouble with the XP being the main one, so I just want to switch it around.
Thanks for your help!

Nope, they're all equal players on the network. None is the "main" computer.
