HELP ME, PLEASE!!!
I have been without ANY phone service since 9/21/12. An ATT tech made an egregious error in U-verse installation, when he failed to set up a second line for me, since U-verse does not recognize Ringmaster Service from old AT&T. I cannot make outgoing calls nor can I receive calls. I had to purchase a Tracfone (yes) to communicate to AT&T. I've used 6 hours airtime on this with NO RESULTS. I'm told that the WINBACK dept. is handling my account exclusively, but there's NO WAY I CAN CONTACT them directly. They say they have a service order for today 10/1, but my gut tells me it's WRONG, too. I HAVE TO HAVE my service restored with my main line and my daughter's secondary line. I HAVE TO HAVE the my same numbers restored. We were told our numbers would not change with U-verse...WRONG. The TURMOIL and grief this is causing me is beyond unbearable.
I saw the name "Alex: Community Manager" mentioned. You're my last best hope!?

It's almost 4 p.m. and Alex hasn't read my pm. Again, I'm not at all familiar with this process, so I don't
know how long it normally takes for a response. Sorry to bother you, but you're the only one who did
respond to me.

Make sure you have your settings checked to receive Private Messages, when you receive one there will be a number next to the little blue envelope on the right side of the page. Hang in there, Alex or someone from his team will be in touch.

Alex will be in touch with you. Sometimes it may take a day or so because he gets lots of requests for help. But he will be in touch with you and will get you to the right person/dept to get this issue resolved.
