Right now I have two dd-wrt routers connected behind my U-verse router. I use one as the main wireless router and the other as a wireless repeater bridge. I would like to look into purchasing one Wireless N router with the hopes that it will cover all of my house and I won't have to switch between both routers. Would purchasing a wireless N router and setting it up beind the U-verse one garner the same results as using just a wireless N router?

What is it you need to accomplish would result in the best way to set it up?
In other words more info if you just need N capabilities then just use one in bridge mode.

It's all in the details. In some settings you can actually reduce your wireless performance by going to a "N" router. It depends on if you live in the city or out in the country and how many WiFi signals are around you. OTHO, you are certainly paying a price for using that wireless repeater.

I will say that if you have multiple devices that need to talk to each other(LAN) then N is worth it as it is faster but just to use instead of the RG's G you will not notice much if any on its biggest pipe.
