Just got my son a new Windows 8 computer and I am having issues connecting to my 2 Wire - does anyone have any tips?

By more info, what exactly is the error message you are getting?

What kind of computer? Laptop or desktop? If it's a desktop.....are you sure it even has wireless capability? My recent model desktop does not so it has to be connected via Ethernet cable. I agree.....need more information.

It is a new E530 Lenovo ThinkPad laptop - all other systems are working fine. It has Windows 8 and a Intel Centrino N2230 Wlan card. Will connect wireless close to router now but not as we move away.

A good-dbm should be lower than 66, with channel 1, 7, 11 as possible. And yes, there are times that wifi cards in some laptops just suck really bad.
