I have a problem with my Wireless printer (HP4620) losing connection with my undue rules i38HG. Both the printer and the gateway have been replaced already. Sometimes it will work for several weeks before losing connectivity other times only a day or two. The IP address of the printer remains the same all I have to do it 3 establish the connection. Other than installing an additional router downstream of the gateway for the connection it is there any other solution for the problem?

When not using the printer, just shut it down. No need for it to be up and in standby 24x7 in a household. Even in a office setting, we set our network connected printers to shut down after 8 hours non-use, 5 min's after a print job runs.

Stimpy: So what'll happen?
Ren: That's just it. We don't know. Maybe something bad, maybe something good. I guess we'll never know, 'cause you're going to guard it. You won't touch it, will you?"

I've checked the signal strength in its a full five bars at the printer. I've tried turning it off vs. letting it go into standby and that doesn't make a difference. The printer keeps the IP address as does the software on the PC. It's definitely related to the IG somehow.

For some reason, Android devices wreck havoc with the WN802, by flooding it, causing it to go offline, is why I placed it on the RG.
