What should the I3812v LAN, wired settings be for uverse, enabled or disabled and what drop down ?

Which LAN are you referring to because theres a couple ethernet ports on the i3812. One is outside in the unit itself, the others are on the inside units. If you are enabling one, it will probably be the one on the outside unit and that normally is disabled because most things are not plugged into it unless they needed it for something.

I have the Max+ uverse internet service level. It's day 1 for my using the service and I am disappointe with the connection speeds. I am getting about 12.5 Mbps and I'm paying for 18 (Max+). I noticed that when I plugge in ethernet into the modem, I get about 17Mbps, closer to what I had with comcast. Am I better off connecting my wireless n netgear router directly to the external port on the iNID (i3812v) or will I still be limited by the line coming into the iNID anyways?
