I have AT&T U-Verse wireless TV solution features the ISB7005 wireless receiver and the VEN401 Wireless Access Point. The only place the technician can install the RG and VEN401 is in the attached garage. It is installed on the wall next to the dining room. Unluckily I am still having intermitting signal strength issues that make one or both of my wireless receivers lock up. My IT guy at work suggested that I install a repeater in the middle to repeat the signal. Is that possible and if so what product would you suggest?

There is no repeater that will work for AT&T's wireless signal, as the access point (the VEN401) is a modified 802.11n access point and carries multicast traffic.
You should have the VEN401 moved closer to the ISB7005 units by extending it's Ethernet cable.
