Why wouldn't it. If it has a Wifi adapter built in, it will work with any Wireless Access Point.

There are androids with wi fi that have problems with u-verse--example--nexxus 7.  The AT&T tech actually suggested that I find out about the compatibility---therefore, I am asking this community as well as asking the vendor.

Do not see how a particular tablet would have problems with who the provider is, regardless of the access point. The person that told you that is full of bunk.

Only time any product with wifi would have issues, is if it was say 5ghz, and the access point is only 2.4ghz.

I can tell you this, that there are some devices that will not connect with a Wireless-N AP (Trendnet TEW690AP) using a WPA Ciper AES encryption. Found that out, when trying to connect our Officejet 4500 series & the PS3 slim that my son has.

Had no problem though connecting to our Netgear WPN802Tv2 Wireless AP that uses a hybrid Wifi, with both G & N active at the same time, and a WPA Ciper of TKIP/AES at the same time.

That would be the only time I can think of, when you would have issues with certain equipment not able to connect to a Access Point.
