I have had problems since getting the wireless boxes. Here is a list of problems.
- Signal between TV and WAP being lost cause the blue TV signal screen of death.
- TV pausing while watching a show and cutting in and out.
- One TV goes black and shows nothing
- While watching a recording the recording stops and says the signal was lost.
AT&T came out about a month ago and the TECH told me that i had alot of static in my lines. He says that causes problems between the WAP and the boxes. Recently the boxes have been having huge problems. We havent been able to make it through a recording in the last week with out the boxes dropping them. At one point I came really close to just dropping the wireless boxes and AT&T all together but decided not too. This was because the service was so good with wired boxes.

I have had the same problems with my wireless receivers. The screen goes black and then system reboots on its own. Meanwhile I can't see the program I was watching. It happens at least twice a night. All this after AT&T charged me $49. per wireless receiver for installation and they don't even work half the time!!!! If I want to get on the phone for help, I have to set aside two hours to go through the voicemail menus and eventually get someone on the line who tries to walk me through a myriad of steps that don't work. Does anyone know if Comcast is any better?????

Use the phone number in my sig and call TS. Let them know what is going on with your system. Before you call unplug the ac cable from your RG for 30 seconds. After the RG reboots do the same thing with your STBs. If the problem persists call TS. Let us know what happens.

I moved one box and TV because we needed to change the room layout. That box is working better. It is still downstairs but is about 15 feet away from the WAP. The last time AT&T was out they moved the WAP but it didn't seem to make a difference with my bedroom box. We are set to move that room around soon, so we will see what that does to the box.

Another update, we are good where the downstairs box is now. Now if we can get the upstairs box to work longer it would be great.

"Ren: Now listen, Cadet. I've got a job for you. See this button? Don't touch it! It's the History Eraser button, you fool!
Stimpy: So what'll happen?
Ren: That's just it. We don't know. Maybe something bad, maybe something good. I guess we'll never know, 'cause you're going to guard it. You won't touch it, will you?"

Having major issues with cisco wireless receiver. Tech support calls have not been helpful. Same computer generated list, reboot everything and cross your fingers it works this time.
Have had uverse since 1/2009 with no real issues. Now I feel like many others, ATT support is outsourced and no real help.

If you are having trouble getting an issue resolved through CS or TS send Alex a PM he is an ATT Community Manager on the forum. He will get you to the right problem/dept. for help.

Ok i have ran into some problems in recent weeks. Nothing major just the black screen of reset. I noticed on another post that there was a firmware upgrade. I dont have that upgrade. actually it looks like i havent gotten a firmware upgrade in a while. Should i be concerned about this? my client version is 2.0.1047.45.

This is to all having wireless stb problems. Is your DVR plugged into the RG by ethernet or coax? This can be really important.
More than likley those having issues with the wireless stb also have the DVR plugged into the RG via ethernet as well. If you can try this.
Keep the WAP connected to the RG ,and if you have a switch that can handle multicast traffic, Plug thr dvr into the switch.
or
With an approved splitter move the DVR to coax and keep the WAP into the RG
This has eliminated playback issues, freezing, and blue screen. Providing you have a good signal on STB
Try it and let me know. All TESTED feedback is welcome.

Thanks for posting that. Even if that solution doesn't work for everyone who tries it, it will help some.
