I'm new to U-verse so be gentle.
Since recent install I'm experiencing the following frustrating issues:
1. Sporadically upon powering-up via the ATT remote (pressing TV then Power), the TV will say No Signal. Sometimes it works great, sometimes I have to restart a few times and sometimes will notice the green light is completely off. I've been reading on the forums that perhaps I should try a different HDMI input.
2. If I turn off the main TV with the ATT remote, I will not be able to access the DVR from the upstairs bedroom. It seems that if I turn off the main TV with the TVs power button, I will be able to access the DVR from upstairs. Sometimes I do that however and I still can't "see" the DVR from upsatirs.
Overall this has been a terrible experience. Cable always just worked, and now I never know if I'll be able to watch TV the way I want.

carnutzzz - Was your COAX reused? Did they test it? Did they change the ends to compression fittings?
Make sure all fittings are tight. No barrel connectors. Make sure connections to splitter or diplexer are on the correct ports.
Ideally the DVR is connected to the RG via cat5.
Try rebooting your whole system in sequence. Pull all power.
Repower RG. wait for all green
Repower DVR. Wait for synch to come in watching a channel.
After that, if you have a problem call for repair.

Update: I switched from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2 on the main tv and voila- the No Signal message turned into a beautiful picture. The best I've had since switching to U-Verse! I'm wondering if the HDMI 1 port is failing?
No co-ax used for the upstairs TV. It's all wireless with only the STB connected to the TV via HDMI.
I'll have a look at the RG tomorrow. Still not sure why the upstairs TV can only see the DVR sporadically- and why it would be dependent on how we turn off the TV downstairs.
