Ok, my house is wired for CAT5 in almost every room - living room, office, master bedroom, and kitchen. I have Coax is every room. Since switching to Uverse, I have 10 unused coax lines, since my Uverse is CAT5 from the NID to my data closest. I actually have 2 CAT5 cables from my NID to the closet. One for the POTS and the other for Uverse. All cabling is dropped in my data closet.
My issue is, I have the kids play room that only has POTS and coax. I want to add a TV and Uverse STB in there. Can I use a MoCA adapter, such as Netgear MCAB1001 or the D-link MediaBridge Coax (DXN-221) to add the STB?
Any suggestions or advice?

HPNA is used on Uverse, not MoCA, for coax connections. Depends on where the RG is as to what
you have to do. Will need a tech out if this is an additional STB and he will connect it. ![]()
