Mce will NOT learn uverse remote?!

I just bought an HP e9180t with the Happauge 1800, and just got uverse with the VIP1200 box in my room. I have all the video cables set up, but what i don't understand is why MCE will not learn my remote. I have try to also learn it from scratch but when it says press and hold 1, i do just that but nothing happens, it doesnt even update on my screen. So im thinking where excatly or how would i find excatly where to put the IR blaster. By the way the HP came with 2 IR blasters and i dont know which are for which? please help!

yah, i tried that one, and the other one showing the IR blaster on the other location... i tried switching them so many times the blasters sticky stuff doesn't even work anymore :/ lol....... What is the proper Ir blaster to be using? like i said before the computer came with 2, but i have been trying to use them both to see which works..

hopefully . Or else i will have to resort to calling someone to come do this for me and im flat broke hahaha. If i did call somebody would i call HP, microsoft, or Uverse first?

sadly.. no. I already searched all over this website and all over google. :/ im stuck just like that guy where he presses the remote but it doesnt even recognize that im pressing the remote at all?? Do you think that might be the placement of my IR blaster?

MCE is in the process of examining Tv signals..... hopefully the last link works for me, if not ill have to see if maybe a Uverse guy can set this up

I have to be the biggest F****** idiot ever!! Am i pointing the uverse remote at the IR blaster on the Uverse box? or the IR on the front of my HP computer? and now i get to IR learning... "press and hold each button on your set-top box remote  control for the button displayed. press and hold button, Continue holding button, but it wont RELEASE BUTTON TO CONTINUE?

does it automatically restart the ^above^ message? I get it to finally RELEASE BUTTON TO CONTINUE randomly but it wont go past number 1... I keep lowering the remote, pressing the button, leveling it to computer, then lowering it again but it doesnt release button?
