Sorry for the title, a bit long.
I just programmed my Uverse remote to control my Pioneer receiver - I have on/off, volume, and mute. The only other control I need is to swap my receiver input device between TV and DVD for when we watch movies. Any ideas? Or just keep the Pioneer remote close by? I would hate to, since I have to turn the OLEVIA tv on and off with Olevia's remote.

Keep it close by if you want to be able to control those functions not controlable by the Uverse remote.
Edit: Did you try pushing the button on the Uverse remote you programmed the receiver on and then pushing TV/Video as that is the 'input' button?

I have the Pioneer VSX-502. I cannot get the volume to work thru the u-verse remote, only the on\off as many others have stated. I was wondering how you got the volume to work? Every time I try it controls the TV volume even though I press the AUX button first. I will open this as a new topic since it hasn't been addressed for awhile, but I figured I'd try here first.
There is another post called "Controlling volume on Pioneer receiver" wich gets me nowhere as well.

By default, the remote is programmed to send a volume up/down to the TV device whenever you press the Volume button. You can change that to any of the four devices on the remote, or you can change it so that it sends the volume command to the currently selected device.

I have the Silver U-Verse remote. There are guides which provide the codes for most devices on AT&T's support site. For example, I have a Panasonic Plasma TV, a Pioneer HD Receiver 9.2, and a Samsung Blu-Ray. All the codes were in the manual, except for the Blu-Ray, and I was able to get the code from the community site.
After that, I was able to put in a code to get the Recevier volume working instead of the TV, and I was in business. The only remote I need now is the Receiver remote, as I can't change the input for the Receiver on the U-Verse remote. Other than that, works great!
I would think your Olevia code would be in the list, and your DVD/Blu-Ray as well.
They have guides for the black remotes as well.
