Well I just bought a new LED TV from Costco ($319) and man this TV has a great picture, however I can't find a remote control code.. I tried the ones in the list, one of them does not even take in the remote (get an error).
I see there are new remote controls from AT&T, anyone know of they include some of the newer sets out there?

Use the Automatic Code finder built within the ATT remote.
-- Grey remote --
TV+OK - 922 - hold the play button till the TV turns off, let go - enter.
-- Black remote --
TV+enter - FF till the TV turns off, let go - enter.
This will cycle all the codes possible. So if this dont work then nothing will work.

Thanks, I forgot about that option.. I will try tommorow and report back.
And if it should not work, do you (or anyone else reading this) know if the newer remotes from ATT have more of the newer TV codes loaded? Or is is the same bag of codes the old remove has?

The list for the 2 remotes is different i know that much.
Try your luck with these.
If that fails, T1 might have a large list.

The easiest method for programming your remote is to have both the TV and DVR/STB on and then using the U-verse remote go to Menu > Help > System Setup > Program your U-verse Remote. There are step by step instructions for programming the gray, black and RF remotes.

I know this post is a few years old but I have been trying to program my remote for my westinghouse tv for months. The codes on the AT&T set up page never worked so I have been stuck with two remotes (tv and u verse) to watch tv. I decided to try a google search just in case anyone else was facing the same issues and I found this forum. I FINALLY got my remote programmed for my tv so I no longer have to use two remotes. Thank you so much for your post. It cured a big headache for me.
P.S. For anyone else trying this, remember the enter button on the silver remote is at the bottom on the right side of the 0 button.
