DVR scheduling issues

Our DVR that we've had for 2 years recently started having issues recording. It started two weeks ago, it completely stopped recorded scheduled recordings. I went through all the steps on the uverse website. Reset and then did the factory reset :-(. After no luck uverse sent a tech out they changed the settings to any day any time, then it will record and shows scheduled recordings. Well today our DVR stopped recording. Everything again. Any suggestions. This is becoming a pain. And not worth the time.

Send them a private message, on this link, and they should be able to give the help needed to solve your Uverse DVR service problems. They are available M-F 8am-11pm Eastern time, response may take up to 2 business days.

This is not the regular CS/TS people, but the social media Community Specialists that know the people to contact to get things done. I personally know as they've helped me on a DVR swap.

Include your account#, email address and a good phone # (land or cell) and time to contact you on.

Check the blue PM envelope, upper right on every page, for their reply. Good luck 😉

I am having this issue today. I have had this issue weekly or more often since they replaced my DVR. I am not sure it isn't related to the number of programs that I am recording at one time (concurrently). I think that the limit is four (I am sorry, but I am not going to look it up on Thanksgiving). Could anyone verify this?

You can record upto a maximum of 4 streams in combination of 2, 3 or 4 HD channels.

 

Can find how many here:  menu>options>system options>system information>system resources

 

This WAN 0SD/4HD means I can watch/record 4 different (SD/) HD channels at one time.  Combinations are 2/2, 1/3 or 0/4. 😉
