I made a quick switch to AT&T Go as I need to get off Virgin Mobile (lost signal daily etc...) and am using a friend's blackberry torch for now which seems like it's going to have problems as I can't use certain blackberry features with the prepaid plan. I'm researching other phones now and wanted to verifiy that others are sucessfully using any At&t 3G smartphone with prepaid plans ($65 plan) and if not what phones are known to work with the prepaid plan? Anything with good battery life would be great as my Virgin Mobile phone has about 1 hour of active battery life.

There are several smartphones that AY&T has for GoPhone service. Most AT&T 4G smartphones will work on GoPhone at 3G data speed. You just need to set the APN for it. I use a AT&T Rugby Smart 4G phone on GoPhone. AT&T does not support the use of 4G smartphones on GoPhone, but you can make them work.
