Just got a Nexus 4 HSPA+ from Google. Data worked for a few days, stopped suddenly. Looks like there is no way to get data with that phone on AT&T prepaid plans, so goodbye AT&T.
What is the best alternative to prepaid AT&T, for that phone, with 3G speeds or faster? My usage is under 300 minutes and 1GB a month.
(Don't suggest T-Mobile: their post-paid plans lock you into a 2-year contract even with your own phone. Their prepaid plans don't support CFC (call forwarding conditional) which rules out using Google Voice, which in turn rules out using them.)
Net10? Anybody else? Thanks!

Not trying to "desperately" keep you with AT&T, but would you consider doing a month-to-month plan with them? You could choose the minimum $39.99 450 minutes plan with a 3GB data plan, which will cost $30 more on top of the 450 minutes plan. So your total bill would run around $69.99 per month, not including taxes and surcharges. Personally, that's much more than what I would be willing to pay, but that's just an option.
The only other prepaid service I can think of is Straight Talk, if that's available in your area? I don't even know if your Nexus 4 is compatible for use on their network, but that's the only thing that comes to mind.
Personally, I love my $25/monthly 250 minutes plan with unlimited messaging, but I don't have nor want a data plan. I'm not sure if you could even add on a data plan...
Your choices are pretty limited, but I hope this helps.

The phone (the date part) is alive again - fixed by a reboot. One of AT&T's MVNOs (SimpleTalk I think) has a similar plan for $50 - I am thinking of ordering their SIM card.
