iPhone 5 shipping schedule bought on 16th

Ordered couple of 16GB iPhone 5's in AT&T store on Sept 16th (Sunday). Store rep said estimated 14-21 days but no guarantees. Got email confirmation with same info the same day.

Checked order status today online (https://www.wireless.att.com/order_status/) and via phone (877-782-8870) says 'Processing' with back-ordered showing as 1.

So what is a more realistic shipping date? Wondering if anybody who ordered on 16th have started seeing their Order Status change? or better start getting the actual shipments? How many days before does the actual Order Status change? If it changes what does it change to?

no one can answer for sure but would guess first to second week of october depending on where you are in the queue of orders

Honest answer. . It is more waiting indeed.

Think AT&T should have varying status types like 'Processing', 'Still processing', 'Honestly don't know when apple will give us a phone to give to you'.

/grin - I put a non-refundable deposit on a car back in August, will get it in july if I am lucky and the stars align.
