Question about the APPS BETA PROGRAM

When can we sign up for this testing? I tried to sign up using my username and current password and it is telling me that my password is invalid. Do I need to create a new one in order to sign up for the testing??

It's my understanding that you will need to register your user name here for Apps Beta Program.
