GoPhone, bought from walmart, unlock issue

Something very interesting here.. 

last two weeks i have been fighting to unlock my gophone. 

i spoke with customer care, had a long chat, created a post here. 

all gave me nothing. zero. 

now, even, i am not able to see my old post.  

they wrote emails asking IMEI number and everything.. but the answer i got was 

"
Okay, that's why this isn't going through.  The old line likely has already reached the max number of unlocks.  And if you submit it under one of your numbers, it doesn't show up as a device you use.  What you can do is use the phone on one of your lines for several months and then make the request.  That way it appears on your current account.

i dont know how "The old line likely has already reached the max number of unlocks", god only knows this.

now, for this $50 gophone, should i fight any more?!?!  still can i have hope for ATT?!?!?!
