service down????

ok, is at&t down right now? i can't call out or receive calls. i'm not even getting voicemail alerts from having my friends testing to see if my phone works. anybody run into this?

The United States is a very large area. If you would give a general area ie. Zip Code where you are located then you might get a better response. It could be just your local tower that is having a problem.

 Have you power cycled your phone to see if that might correct the problem?

I'm in Wilkes Barre as well, and I'm on EDGE as well.

Hopefully whatever they are doing gets us better 3g speeds.

I   spent almost an hour on the phone with customer care, who kept redirecting me to people telling me there was no service outage. They did open a ticket for the area though, and oddly enough our phones went right back to h+ within minutes of hanging up with them. Heh Heh.

Hi!  I'm in downtown Chicago and having problems with ATT service! Its down again! Anyone having the same issue?  Calls and texts are not going through.  This has been going on for over an hour now!  My phone is now showing I'm on a 3G network! Help! Anyone?

2 days ago I noticed it was switching to only edge and 3G was not working. I live in Greeley Colorado. That morning everything worked again. Seems to be fine since then.

I have an iPhone 4 and it's been alternating between saying "No Service" and "Searching..." for about an hour now. I live in Reading, Pennsylvania. It'd be really nice to know what's going on with my service considering I can't even make a call to customer service!!!!!

I live in Tuscaloosa, AL (35453) and my reception has been fine up until yesterday...I barely have any service at my house now. It goes in and out. So frustrating! Is anyone else currently having the same problem? Is there a tower down?

I'm in Philadelphia (19147). Seems my house and about 9 blocks around it is a dead zone. If I drive about .4 miles south I can get service. Been this way for about 3-4 hours.

The AT&T 3G Network has been down In Winston-Salem, NC all morning. My iPhone maintains it's edge connection, but is very slow - even for edge. My iPad will show it has a edge, or no connectin at all, but won't transfer any data. Have restarted both devices and with no luck. Everyone else in the area I know is having the same problem. Of course, it's impossible to get through to anyone at AT&T to find out what's going on.

I've been getting connection errors in bursts for the last 2 hours in Charlotte, NC. Managed to get two calls through only to be interrupted by error beeps. Texts won't go through either.

This random outage with no notification is really the best that AT&T can do?

PEOPLE it's NOT an OUTAGE.

It's system CAPACITY UPGRADES.

The beeps mean the tower is ACTIVELY being worked on.

Houston area is down right now. At least out in Katy. Phones all say "Emergency Calls Only" when you dial out.
