Outages today?

Anyone having issues with data this morning? I'm near Pittsburgh PA and I haven't been able to access any apps this morning.

Are you able to check email?

Why jump to the conclusion that there is a network issue just because an app isn't working?

When's the last time you rebooted your device?

No, I can't access any websites from my device.

No, I'm unable to check email.

I jumped to the conclusion that there is a network issue not because an app wasn't working but all apps weren't working.

I rebooted it this morning before I took up your precious time. The reboot did not correct the issue.

However, I just tried various apps and things like iheart radio and apps for various news outlets are now opening.

Maybe you should have posted this in the network outtage forum.

And as for your uncalled for comments about taking up precious time, this is a customer based forum. There are no AT&T employees on here, just customers helping customers. No one is getting paid for the advice they give, so yes, it takes precious time to read and respond to posts.

I wasn't aware there was a network outage forum. Thank you for bringing that to my attention.

I never suggested that there were any AT&T employees on here. And if people are doing this out of the goodness of their hearts, then all the more reason to be polite and helpful. At least that's the way it's worked in other forums I belong to.

If you had ellaborated and said that no data was working, that would have been a good start.

It's really too bad you took my comments so negatively, they were not intended that way.

Have you tried resetting the network connections?

Have you contacted AT&T to report the issue?

Can you make calls?

Have you tried turning off 3G to see if the issue is just with the 3G network in your area?

My iPhone 3Gs is showing 4-5 bars yet I can not make or receive calls. Also, my apps & email are not responding.  I am in CT, 2 hrs east of NYC

I have restarted the iPhone 2x. No difference. Have turned 3G on and off; WiFi on and off -- nothing has changed. AT&T says that there is no outage.

Glad to hear your apps are starting to work again!  If you do have problems with your data connectivity though, call customer care from another line for some assistance

I'm not sure about your area, but when I spoke with AT&T today (having major slowness with my laptop connect card and it's not the card or my MacBook Pro), I was informed that there are problems with voice and data customers all over Pennsylvania and parts of New Jersey.  Don't know if that helps anyone or not.  Also, how do we get to a forum for network issues?

No data for my iPhone 3GS today from Zanesville, OH to Cincinnati and back. Voice and SMS is ok but cannot check email or use maps or anything else that accesses (app store, safari, etc...)

When I chatted with AT&T today the lady told me that several states are experecing 3G outages (like mine, Oklahoma City) & she didn't know how long the fix will take.  Some states were out since yesterday she said but didn't know about the others since they wern't reporeted.  I also told her about my coverage bars dropping, she told me to turn my 3G OFF & move it to EDGE, she said it will be slower but should help the bars, & to keep checking the 3G every hour or so.  Sometimes my coverage goes even on my WIFI.  Is this a APPLE fix or AT&T?

I'm still looking for the outage forum, until then....I had a call dropped at 1:30 today and haven't been able to make or receive calls since.  It really sucks since my husband is in New York right now and we can't talk.

We are in Charleston and our service has been out for hours. Last cell phone call from my son came in at 2, so it went out sometime after that.

I am in Marion, sc and my service has been in and out since Saturday.  What is the problem ???
