My samsung galaxy 3 on LTE is very bad. I am constantly getting speeds of 0.04 mbps download speed. However I get 3mbps upload speeds. Every once a couple days I get speeds of 8mpbs download speed however this is VERY RARE, yet, it only lasts for like 2 minutes, then I retest again and it's back to below 1mbps. I have 4 bars it says 4G LTE yet the speed test and other apps will close because it says network connectivity error. Web pages take forever to load, and lets not mention youtube, I have quit trying. When I connect to wifi it is night and day!
Troubleshooting I have done:
- switch airplane mode on and off
- updated my phone
- turned it on and off
- cleared all background apps
- stepped outside
- tried it at different locations
- tried it at different times (day and night)
- my plan is set for 4G not 3G
What else do I need to do? Someone help me.

I tried a battery pull.
I tried a sim card pull.
I even took my SD card out as well, I know it shouldn't matter but I have tried everything I can.
If I am lucky I get 1mbps. I am at work right now and I get 0.7 mbps down and 0.18 up. Yes on 4G LTE.

Thank you. I think I am going to need to do this.
As of now, It says I have 4G LTE with 3 bars however, google.play wont open up, the browser wont open up, google music will not open up, not even speed test. I really do hope this is an easy fix. I will be going to the AT&T store tomorrow, I will report back with my findings incase anyone else has this issue.

Got a new sim card put in, made sure it was LTE compatible. Still get 0.08 upload and 0.16 download. I sometimes get 0.02 download. All this while on 4G LTE. What do I do next??? This is very unacceptable.

Did they offer to give you a ticket claim? After the techs have done what they can, they should offer you a ticket claim where a tech actually calls you and lets you know whats up.

Yes, they put in a ticket with a claim number, however they emailed me telling me it was resolved. I called them back telling them that is not the case. They reopened it. I doubt anything will change. I have talked to 5 AT&T people who all say the same ^&$$#%@#
