ATT is turning on LTE in bunches of markets before the end of the year. They just put out a press release a couple of days ago. I lost the URL, but you can probably google it. In anycase, Hampton Roads IS NOT on the list for 2012. Ticks me off, too.
One more thing...
If ATT actually forces me to go to a shared program from my current unlimited plans to use Facetime, I'm going to pay the penalty and leave them. That would be the last straw for my two iphones and an iPad.

I really want to make move from Sprint to AT&T for thier version of Galaxy Note 2.
Is 3G HSPA+ coverage & data speed solid in Va beach?

yeah att is really good in the area now. The goal for lte is def first quarter so hopefully everything will go as planned. Its blazing fast in richmond. I tested ,my phone and got over 60down. Im sure the speeds wont always be that fast but so far it was impressive.

ATT LTE signal has gone sour in my neighborhood /Surrounding area.
I reboot device LTE icon displays with great speed test results but after I make a call / receive a call LTE doesn't re-enable after call end.

After I reboot device LTE shines
After I make a call / Receave call it goes to HSPA+ feed. Only way to get LTE signel back is to reboot device

Well adjustment was made to tower correcting issue some what.
It takes about 45 seconds to a minute for LTE to renable after call....A couple times its taken longer.
Anyway its better then it was a couple days ago Im very happy with ATT service its the best!.
