Also, do you know the rough area of where this will cover? Will it be metro only, or will it also encompass the DTC area, and a wider circle?
Thanks!

Some AT&T rep at a store said it. I'm being told from Denver to boulder. I don't know about DTC but I'd assume so.

For some reason, Denver Metro has always had trouble with AT&T getting network upgrades which puts us last in line behind most other markets (even much smaller markets). It was the same way for 3G.
I don't know if it because of avaliable AT&T spectrum in Denver metro or tower placement issues because of NIMBYs. I would have thought with that Iphone 5 getting LTE that AT&T would have fast tracked Denver, but I guess I was wrong. Nov seems like a long way off!

11/11 is Sunday of this weekend. Will be interesting to see if LTE does finally arrive. Certainly ATT is running out of time to say "by the end of the year" which was the origional quoted day. They are really pushing Denver to the brink here.

I called my ATT Plus reps today. They said that ATT still mum on the LTE This weekend. I told the rep that it was roumored to be released on 11.11.12, and she was very doubtful after checking tower reccords. We will see though! I really hope I can use the LTE on my iPhone 5 for once. My friend has verizon, and his LTE is clocked 15 25MBPS down, with just TWO bars. I can't imagine what ATT speed will be like. If we ever end up getting it...

Not sure what their hold up is here, I guess they will wait until 12-31??
We've seen many other much smaller markets, such as Tulsa, OK Ft. Meyers, etc light up in the last few weeks. Even 3-4 cities in Arkansas (Pigsknuckle arkansas anyone??) have LTE up and Denver is still creeping along on "3.5G" comon AT&T HSPA+ is not 4G guys no matter what they say.

I was at Rose hospital last night (8th and Colorado) and at one point, I pulled my phone out of my pocket and saw the LTE data icon! I was getting 20-30 Mbps down... but this morning, it shows LTE and full bars (at 17th and Logan) but no data connectivity. If I force my phone to HSPA+, I get data connectivity just fine. I'm sure they are working on different things making sure it's ready to go live by 11.11. FWIW, I didn't get an LTE signal until I reached downtown... and I commuted from Evergreen this morning.
HTC One X.

Yup, LTE live. Was driving from Arapahoe Rd. down I25 south to central downtown. Picked up 35MB down at one point in the DTC area along I25.But, here around 19th and Broadway, getting LTE but download is only about 7.6MB/down.

I haven't seen anything yet. I'm up on the northern end of Thornton, and am still only seeing 4G HSPA+ on my iPhone 5. Was really hoping we'd see more complete coverage thus far. I'll be keeping my eyes open.

I'm in Thornton as well and on my way north on I-25 around 84th Ave. I had picked up full LTE service. Speed test clocked it at around 42mbps on my iPhone 5. However, once I got past 84th Ave. my phone reported "4G" again and I've been stuck at that since. I live off of 120th Ave. I did notice faint traces of it off of 50th and Lowell at the Lowell campus for Regis University.

I use an app called Sensorly to map out the networks.. And anoter called WIMB (Where is my base-station) to see the tower and where it is. You all should use em.
80002 has somewhat LTE in areas like Ralston Rd & Olde Wadsworth Blvd (sketchy LTE) and none around Ward and 58th. (80007)
This picture is from the 45 Minute area near DIA on Pena.

I picked up LTE yesterday while out in Aurora near 225 & Mississippi. What a joke. I got 8.8MB/sec, which just BARELY beats my best speed on HSPA+ of 7.9MB/sec. This was after running two other tests where I barely got 2MB/sec. What's the point if the data speeds aren't much better? Besides, HSPA+ is theoretically capable of 168MB/sec, in perfect conditions of course. Just seems like AT&T is having to rush into this because everyone else now has LTE. I really hope it gets better.

I just got off the phone with an AT&T representative he was very nice and answered all my questions. he was kind enough to look up cell phone towers I had questions about. We spent about 10 minutes looking up intersections of towers in the possibilities of upgrading them to LTE technology. He gave me Eta's for the nearby towers to my residency, and also ETAs for the rest of the month for following towers. Just wanted to say thank you. For anyone who had questions about LTE towers for Denver Arvada and Aurora I just wanted to let you know that within 30 days most of the LTE upgrades should be complete.
