DROPPED CALLS DELAYED TEXTS

I USED TO GET FULL BARS WITH COMPARABLE SERVICE WITH AT&T BUT NOW "FROM THE SAME LOCATION" I GET CONTINUALLY DROPPED CALLS AND TERRIBLY DELAYED TEXT AND THAT'S IF I GET THE TEXT AT ALL. I VERIFIED THIS BY SOMEONE WHO I NORMALLY TEXT AND WE STAYED ON OUR LANDLINE AND EXCHANGED TEXTS. I DIDN'T GET SOME OF THE TEXTS AND SOME OF THE TEXTS WERE EXTREMELY DELAYED. I HAVE SEVERAL FAMILY MEMBERS AND WE HAVE ALSO VERIFIED THAT THE PHONE CALLS AND TEXT MESSAGES WEREN'T BEING DELIVERED PROPERLY. I THOUGHT IT WAS MY PHONE SO I PURCHASED A NEW PHONE 4G BY THE WAY AND NOW I GET THE SAME "BAD" SERVICE. WHAT'S GOING ON WITH AT&T'S SO CALLED "BETTER" SERVICE??
