The account I was linked to was closed recently and because I had my free email linked to the paid sbcglobal I was blocked from using my FREE yahoo mail.  Is it possible to regain access to the yahoo mail?  I have folders with messages that are almost ten years old, passwords, etc

You are NOT talking directly to ATT here; this is mostly a peer-to-peer forum.  What you need help with requires personal account info.  Alex IS an employee and he CAN look at your account.

I found the solution myself finally.  Thanks

If anyone one else needs to unbind sbcglobal and yahoo just try logging into yahoo and there is a radio button to "unmerge" the accounts and revert the yahoo back to the free yahoo mail without the bells and whistles.
