My husband called Tuesday and placed an order to have DSL activated, we all ready have the equipment so he was told it would just be turned on and it would be within 24 hours. I called Wednesday to confirm it was only for DSL and come to find out the customer service rep never even entered the order. I was on the phone for 45 minutes and during that time they told me it could not be turned on until December 7th.....I could not believe it would take 8 days???? so the customer service rep put me on hold to talk to his supervisor to see if it could be expedited. I was then put on hold for another 10 minutes while his supervisor talked to a tech to have it scheduled to be turned on Friday December 2nd. Today is Friday December 2nd and at 11:30am I called to verify it would be get turned on today. The customer service rep told me it was scheduled for Dec. 5th??? I told her no, it is suppose to be today. After being on the phone with her for a while she then verified it would be today by 6pm. At 4:45pm I decided to call because it was not turned on yet and I was worried there was another screw up, I was on the phone for two hours with the exception of the 10 minutes I had to call back and hold again because the third person that I was on the line with disconnected me. Now it wont be until Monday December 5th. Joe and Zach told me on Wednesday it would be today but according to everyone else the notes state the work order was for Dec 5th so it appears Joe and Zach were full of crap and lied to me.
Two months ago I relocated my business and due to the area had to have the number changed and I had to call ATT every day for a week and a half because they could not fix the voice mail. Customer service blamed repair and repair blamed customer service.
ATT sucks, the customer service reps are nice but they don't know what they are doing, they say one thing and do another and they have no idea how to work things. I am so disqusted with this company. They really need to get their crap together.
