Rural DSL availability and expansion.

Hello,

I a currently live in a rural area of mid Michigan that is not too far from currently established DSL lines, however it is still out of reach to my knowledge as of now. I currently receive high speed fixed wireless through a company that receives their service through ATT but acts as a third party in it's delivery. I currently pay somewhere in the 45 dollar range for internet service that is lack luster and could be better. I feel I have a superficial knowledge of how DSL service is made available and would like to know more of how ATT and maybe other companies plan and establish their service within areas. Also I wanted to know what I can do as a consumer to promote the expansion of wired high speed connections within my area and if there are currently plans laid out for expansion.

I live in a rural area also and have been for over a year. I have been calling att for over a year now and I get a differnet answer every time. one time they will tell me I cant get dsl because the ports are full. Next time they will say that I am out of reach. So I requested that a technician come out and see why I wasnt getting dsl and if I could get it. They were supposed to get back to me but of course they never did. So I decided to talk to one of att technicians in my area and he said that it wasnt available were I live but he wished that he could put up a DSLAM box in my area because he said it would fill up quick. He told me to call att and tell them but still no progress. I dont know what to do been calling for a year, requesting someone to come out and at least try to do something for me but nothing is getting done. I thought if I called for a year staight they would finally do something to get me to stop calling but didn't work. so im begging now please give me dsl!!!! PLEASE!!! HELP ME!!!! Tell me what I have to do to get it should I drive to the corporate office in Dallas Tx get on my knees and beg cause I will if it works.
