I suggest approaching an AT&T account with caution. For a communication company they do not communicate amongst themselves. I have spoke to several AT&T personnel and have had to tell each the whole story. That is just for this morning. They were supposed to have 8 lines and DSL installed on the 15th of December. They started on that day and here on the 27th it still does not work.
My Office Manager has spent hours on the phone and emailing this past week.
We had AT&T 10 or 12 years back and had the same issues. When approached this time they promised things had changed. They have not.
