I am unable to get DSL or U-VERSE at my home. I live in the middle of my town. I called At&t and was told that the ports were full and nothing could be done. I know for a fact that something can be done. Only one house around me has access, everyone else needs it. If you can have a DSLAM setup in an area that has a large population, surely this DSLAM can handle our neighborhood. If a few ports were to be added, they will be used all the time so money is NOT an issue. It will pay itself off in no time. I will chip in a couple hundred dollars. I am forced to pay $80/mo for Verizon MiFi and it is completely terrible.
Alright, I have done my part by researching the basiscs for DSLAM/IP-DSLAM and the way ADSL works. Please do your part and give me an actual response, not some automated crap.

gilbeloate,
Hello and welcome to the forums, I have included two links that will most likely in a sense be automated answers. The first link is a brief description of the path ATT is taking to reach more customers. Is this your neighborhood, I am not sure but ATT is trying to reach more areas.
This second link is for ATTCustomer care. If you send them a private message explaining your situation they will investigate thoroughly to make sure in fact there is no facilities in your area for the demand of the neighborhood. Please include you name, email address, phone number and the best time a representative can contact you. Please also allow up to 48hrs for a representative to contact you.
Thank you
James
