I deleted my account back in June thinking that my checking account would be automatically deactivated with my cancelled account. However, 2 months later over $600 has been deducted from my checking account without any type of communication via text, email or phone calls or my prior authorization. There was never a verbal or written disclaimer stating that after my account was cancelled that they could still take out money.
The reason I moved and closed my account was to downgrade because I had to take care of my sick father. However, now my finances are in complete disaray due to the large deduction ATT has placed on my checking account and multiple checks have bounced and I now owe large fees everyday I am unable to pay my rent.
I have tried to resolve this problem but I keep getting transfered back and forth. First from the web chat to the email customer concerns back to the billing web chat then to and 877-999-1083. Everyone is so kind and keeps apolgizing but in honesty I don't need empathy, I need my money back. So how can we get this resolved in the most expedited way?
