I need to find out a way to obtain my customer code. I recently got the DSL service for my apartment, got it hooked up and all. However, I have been using the internet for 17 days now and I still have not received any bililng information. I first tried online because I don't want to wait anymore, but it said I need to have the customer code in order to get e-bill. I have not received my first bill yet, so I called the customer service to ask if they can get it for me. However, the person said that she cannot see my account or do anything to my accountwithout my customer code.
I know there is a law stating that it is not an excuse for a customer to not pay the bill even when he or she did not received the bill, since it was alreadybe part of the contract. The company would have the freedom to send the bill to collection, without any notification to the customer, and it would hurt the customer's credit.
So here are my questions:
- When is usually the time that the first bill arrived?
- How can I obtain the customer code when I don't receive my first bill?

I was under the impression that you could also use your cell number or your member id which is the beginning of your email before @.
It still seems a bit early in the billing cycle but if it extends over a month and you still can't get your customer code II would definitely reach out to one of our ATTCustomer care agents by using the link below, and sending a private message. Please include your name, email address, phone number and the best time to be contacted and allow up to 48 hrs for a response. Thank you for your time.
