3 weeks ago I am driving down road and an ATT wire is hanging in the street. I hit it and it busted my windshield, marked up truck pretty good and made some dents here and there also. Called police, they came, positively identified the wire as an ATT wire, wrote it up in police report and all. I go up and down this road 2 times a day. I only have liability insurance also. First thing I did was call ATT (had to hunt down a phone number online), got transferred a few times and they gave me a case number. They said they would call me in a few days. Well 5 days later I call back. They didn't have that "case number" and said they would have to transfer me over to their claims management. OK - got another case number and was turned over to Sedgwick. They called 1 time and said they would send me an email so I could send them the police report and pics and repair estimate. Never did. I hunted that guys email down (again on the internet) and called back everyday and left message. Never heard back. Finally I got a hold to the guy a week and a half later and his answer was "we don't have a repair report so it wasn't our line". I told him I have a police report in which he must have never even looked at, I also drove by the ATT repair guy 3 days in a row at the pole. Now, I have tried to call ATT back and only to get asked "whats your account number" and to be transferred over and over. This is so frustrating as I am driving with busted windshield (against the law) trying to get this fixed yet I can't even get any information from either Sedgwick or ATT. I am an ATT customer too (but not for long). I am sure my post will be sent here or there or ignored but this is the LAST place I have to go!!!! Almost ready to take legal action but really do I have to that just because I can't get any straight answers from ATT?

OK - I called. Was transferred directly to Sedgwick, and the phone just rang about 30 times before I figured no one was going to answer and I hung up. I tried to call the Sedgwick guy in charge of my claim and he actually answered his phone (must have thought I was someone else because he really got me off phone quick). His newest answer - he has to call the technician back because there were "holes" in his story. And he would call me back. Guess that takes a week eh? lol. I still havent heard from him and I am not holding my breath. I did call back and got his voice mail, but he didn't call back. I doubt he will. I truly think I would have better luck dealing with the North Korean Department of Motor Vehicles getting a drivers license. Guess I am going to have to go to small claims court. Thanks ATT!!! (if you can't tell I am being very sarcastic).
