Is U-verse the worst cable and internet service!

I shifted my cable and internet service from Cablevision to ATT. What a mistake. It took 2 days for the technicans to change a service which worked perfectly fine with Cablevison. Multiple technicians over two days just to change from one cable provider to another. Since then it has been one problem after another. To add insult to injury one has to call ATT and then the wait time begins. 30 minutes and counting is normal. This week both cable and internet stopped working. An appointment was made (waiting for over 30 minutes) with a window of 1 pm to 4 pm. The technician arrived closer to 6 pm. Perfectly nice person but "I cannot solve your issues and either I or someone will return tomorrow." Do I need to go on when no one returned, I called ATT, waited the requisite 30+ minutes and made yet another appointment. Then to receive a message from [Mr.] Gonterman, Vice President and General Manager-New England thanking me for my business and saying " this an exciting time to be an ATT customer," Oh forgot to tell everyone ATT has sold its Connecticut cable, internet and home phone business to Frontier Communications. How did I find out about that-Cablevision sent me a letter. Thanks for the note Mr. Gonterman but the only thing exciting is how do I switch from ATT

I'm very sorry for the issues you've experienced with your new service. Switching from one provider to another can involve a lot of complex wiring and installations, and some things might need to be done at other locations.
